The Houghton Districts Football Club is pleased to announce that we will be promoted to Division 6 for the 2020 season.

After consultation with our Executive Committee, Football Department and Leadership Group, we felt this was a fantastic opportunity to test our Club against some very strong football clubs and will allow for us to have greater consistency in fixturing across a shortened season (triple headers in Div 6, Div 6 Reserves and C6).

Our Senior Coach, Matty Jones, stated “2020 has been extraordinary to say the least and has presented us with new challenges. As of now we can know exactly where this next chapter of our Football Journey will go. I’m excited at what this could mean for us and we’re preparing to take the challenges head on. Opportunity waits for no one”.

The 2020 season will be a nine round season, commencing on July 4th against Elizabeth at Argana Park.
